Message with this, I'll robably start off by heating and bending a scrap piece of Aluminum to get the feel for it. Then I'll decide if this is worth doing or not. Another thing is that the rims aren't 100% aluminum, and we all know how the melting point decreases as foreign metals are introduced to an alloy...There would be a lot of research and testing done if I'm going to do this right. I'm taking all your suggestions seriously, so keep 'em coming!
